Batches

A batch is a collection of documents that are sent through the Umango system together. Typically, one scan is one batch. Batches can be made fully automated (no user intervention from scanning point to end point), semi-automated (amount of user intervention dependent on the automation settings like validation rules or confidence thresholds, etc.), or they can be set for full manual processing (manually scan, process and export the batch).

The user will be prompted to process a batch within the Batches menu on the left hand side of the screen. The batches will be listed under this menu with their required action. From there, the user can choose to process a batch by clicking the Process button under the Action column of the relevant batch. Within the batches menu, the user can also decide what information columns are displayed. Select or deselect the appropriate column in the list. The user can search and filter the batches as well (for example, search by processor, etc.)

Unless they are an admin (who can view all batches), users are only able to view batches that the job has allowed them access to. Access is granted within the Users tab when creating a job.
