Konica Minolta Embedded App

Overview

Umango can be embedded on any Konica Minolta device with OpenAPI support and the browser (iOption) enabled.

Device Settings

Configure the following settings on each device to enable integration:

Administration Settings
  1. Navigate to Administration Settings > System Connection > Open API Settings:
    • Access Setting: Set to Allow
    • External Application Connection: Set to Yes
  2. Navigate to Administration Settings > System Connection > SSL/Port Settings:
    • SSL Setting: Set to SSL/Non SSL
    • Port No.: Set to 50001
    • Port Number (SSL): Set to 50003
  3. Navigate to Administration Settings > Page 2 of 2 > Open API Certification Management Setting > Restriction Code Settings:
    • Ensure no rules create restrictions that could block application functionality.
  4. Navigate to Utility -> Administrator Settings -> System Connections -> OpenAPI Settings
    • Ensure the OpenAPI settings have both Non-SSL and SSL set.
Network and Proxy Server Requirements

Ensure the following network configurations are in place:

  1. Ports: Confirm that the network does not restrict access to these device ports:
    • Port 80
    • Port 50001
    • Port 50003
  2. Security Credentials: Verify that no specific security credentials are required to access these ports. Adjust proxy server settings if necessary to permit traffic.
