Therefore
The Therefore connector allows Umango to export documents and metadata directly into your on-premise or cloud Therefore system. It supports both dynamic category and case assignment, metadata mapping and optional check-in comments.
Settings
Therefore Connection
To connect to your Therefore server, you need to provide the following credentials:
- Therefore server URL - Enter the URL of your on-premise or cloud-based Therefore server.
- User name - The username used to authenticate.
- User password - The password associated with the username.
Click the Test Connection button to validate your credentials and ensure a successful connection to Therefore.
Case Selection
Decide whether documents should be assigned to a case within Therefore.
- Always export to the case below – Select a case definition from the dropdown. This will apply to all exports using this job.
- Do not select a case – Skips case association entirely
Note: Enable Case Index Selection and setup a related export field to allow the user to select a case during export.
Assignments
Category and Index Mapping
Map index values from Umango to a selected Therefore category and its fields.
- Use the Select Category dropdown to choose the Therefore category to export into.
- Define one or more Value and Field mappings:
- Value – A static or merged value to assign
- Field – The target index field on the selected category
Click Add to save the mapping. All active mappings will appear in the table below.
Document Name
Set file name and check-in options for the uploaded document.
File Name – Use a static value or data merge field to name the uploaded file.
Check-In Comment – (Optional) Include a comment to be saved with the document at check-in time.
Note: Uploaded files will be added as new versions to pre-existing files (with the same file name and extension) within Therefore.
